Two great products for Triumph Thunderbird Storm (2011 & up) - bundled together for great savings!

Adjustable Windshield System for Triumph Thunderbird Storm (2011 & Up)

Our complete drop-in system requires no modification and includes everything needed to mount and position the shield:

  • Fork-mount quick-release base plates
  • Quick-detach adjustable windshield brackets
  • Touring windshield
  • All requires mounting hardware

Additional optional components:

  • Quick-detach lower deflectors (create a smoother ride)
  • Quick-detach fly screen (short dark sport screen)

The touring shield is positioned in front of your instrument cluster and the adjustable brackets allow you to set it for the most comfortable airflow depending on your particular height and riding position. Adjustability is critical for smooth comfortable wind protection while looking over the shield, not through it!

Removing or attaching the windshield simply takes a flip of two locking tabs then the brackets with shield slide right up off of the forks. Only a small bracket on each side is left behind (see photos). NOTE: The shield on the silver Storm is an 18 inch Light Gray, and on the red Storm is a 20 inch Light Gray. The fly screen is on a Rocket III but is just about identical on the Storm.

All Madstad windshields are made from 3/16"" (4.5 mm) thick cast acrylic.

Lower Deflectors Kit for Triumph Thunderbird Storm (2011 & Up)

This is an ADD-ON product.

It requires that you already have the Madstad touring shield system. These lowers will NOT attach without the touring shield brackets. This kit includes:

  • Quick-detach lowers brackets
  • 13" tall lower deflectors
  • All required mounting hardware

You can order these to match your touring shield color.   (PHOTO SHOWS MOUNTED WITH REQUIRED COMPLETE WINDSHIELD SYSTEM)

Goldwing GL1800 turbulance solved.

Great customer service and fast shipping. They had mine in stock or made is lightning fast because I got it in two days (florida to florida). You have to play with the height and tilt to get best results. The windshield is very clear and all the parts are high quality. Installation took me maybe about an hour or two and I'm not a very skilled technical person. I took my bike for about 10 runs and found a perfect height and tilt for me where it eliminates the turbulance above 50mph caused by the stock windshield. you still get wind, maybe more wind but it's smooth so your helmet isnt bobbling around. I got the 12" version.

My mistake in ordering the wrong year.

I haven't installed the side deflectors yet. The top longer screws included are not the correct thread so I'll head to the hardware store to see if I can match up something.
Update: Even though I ordered the wrong year, Madstad called and they are sending the correct hardware pack to me. They are a stand-up company and great products.

Great product, simple to install.

Received the windshield ot was nicely packaged all the parts were wrapped and protected. It was incredibly easy to install four screws secure the old windshield new bracket attaches at those same screws put it on and was riding in less than 10 min. Adjusts easily and works perfectly. Very happy with my purchase.

Disappointing.

I just purchased my second MedStad windshield system and I have to say I'm disappointed I have a 2015 and a 2013 victory cross country The first One shield I ordered I ordered without the cutout on the bottom but now that's no longer an option. I don't understand why that's not an option when the windshield sets a couple inches off the fairing of the motorcycle I would much rather have that cut out on the bottom of the windshield filled in like the first windshield that I bought I would think it would be easier not to cut that cut out out from the factory. I don't understand why this is not an option anymore. I love the system itself but I don't care for the look of the new windshields with the cut out on the bottom. Again it doesn't make sense when the windshield sits and itch or so off the fairing I would rather my windshield come down to a nice sleak point that they used to offer.
