1. How long until my order ships?
Madstad brand products are built and assembled right here in our Florida factory. That said, our team of highly-skilled craftsmen are fantastic at their jobs, allowing us to offer much faster production times than most custom-made products.
Some orders may arrive in multiple boxes and may have more than one tracking number associated with the order.

Order fulfillment time is separate from the shipping transport time.

We know you’re anxious to receive your order, so we make sure to keep you posted every step of the way! You’ll receive an order confirmation email at the time you place your order so you know it’s been received and is headed into production. Check spam folder if not received.
We’ll also send a second email when your order ships that will contain the tracking information needed to track your shipment directly with the carrier who is delivering your items.
2: Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we offer USPS, UPS and FedEx shipping services to many countries, including both standard and expedited options. Please note that import broker or customs fees are not included with these shipping services.
3: Do you offer returns and exchanges? | Can I cancel my order? | What if I want to make a change to my order?
NOTE: THIS APPLIES ONLY TO OUR ADJUSTABLE WINDSHIELD SYSTEMS LINE OF PRODUCTS.
We understand that sizing is an art, not a science. No size chart will guarantee the perfect fit since two riders of equal height may not sit exactly the same on the same bike due to factors such as posture, inseam, and aftermarket seat or controls modifications. Therefore we strongly recommend using the provided windshield size selecting guidelines as described on each windshield system product page.

I WANT TO RETURN THE ENTIRE WINDSHIELD SYSTEM
Madstad accepts windshield system products that are new, unmounted, and unused. There is a 20% purchase price restocking and handling fee applied to the refund. Shipping fees will not be refunded. Madstad does not provide return labels.
Returned products must be NEW. All others do not qualify for a refund of any amount.
For edits to your order, email support@madstad.com. We will attempt to make the order adjustment but in some instances, based on timing, we may not be able to apply the change.
To cancel your order, email support@madstad.com with subject line Cancel with your order number included. A 20% fee will be applied if your order has entered production.
NOTE: Based on timing, not all orders will be able to canceled prior to shipping.
WHAT IF I WANT A DIFFERENT SIZE OR COLOR WINDSHIELD?
If you want a shorter, taller, or another color windshield option, you are eligible for a new windshield at a 50% off list pricing within 45 days of product delivery.
Instructions:
- Email support@madstad.com – (order# - new windshield) in the subject line. In the body of the email, please tell us your full name and the size/color for your replacement windshield.
- We will email you back with a unique one-time discount code and product link to order the replacement windshield. Then you will be able to place your order for the replacement windshield.

Instructions:
- Email support@madstad.com with Returns – Order Number in the subject line using the order number of the item(s) you want to return. In the body of the email, please tell us your full name and the reason for the return.
- IMPORTANT: Wrap the products well to protect from shipping damage, especially the windshields. If you are returning a complete system, we strongly recommend placing a piece of cardboard between the windshield and all other wrapped components in the box, then bind them together. Place a note inside the box including your full name and order number.
- Ship the package to the address below. We recommend insuring the package in the event that the carrier service is the one who causes the damage or loses the package.

- Once the package is delivered to our facility, we will begin processing your return. You can expect to see your refund within 10 business days.
Return/Change Notes:
- Replacement windshield must be the same style windshield designed for the same year, make, and model.
- You may either return or exchange (but not both) your purchase once within 45 days of the original order.
- Single replacement windshields that aren’t part of a complete system purchase do not qualify for returns or change discount program.
4: Why does a Madstad system perform better than any other motorcycle windshield brand?
5: How do I set the angle on my Madstad system?
Our windshields work best at approximately a 60-degree angle relative to the ground, give or take a few degrees. On the back cover of the installation manual, you will find an angle guide to help you align your shield. In addition, smartphone angle finder (inclinometer) apps may be helpful. Your personal best comfort level will likely be between 55 and 63 degrees, and you will have to experiment a bit to find out what works best for you.
6: Why does Madstad use cast acrylic instead of polycarbonate plastic?
Cast acrylic is more rigid, more optically clear, has better scratch resistance, better chemical resistance for cleaning, easier to mold, less costly and does not cloud or become hazy over time like polycarbonate can. We use a minimum 3/16" (4.5 mm) thick cast acrylic to make our windshields so they are nice and rigid, super-clear and easy to maintain.
Note: Minor anomalies that are characteristic to acrylic are not considered a defect.
7: What should I use to clean and protect my Madstad windshield?
Method:
Rinse off any heavy dirt or grime. Spray cleaner over entire surface of one side of the windshield, let soak for about one minute. With a clean soft towel (cotton or microfiber), wipe off cleaner using circular patterns. Repeat steps on the other side. Flip over towel, repeat until clean and streak free.
Products:
We use Rolite brand Plastic & Acrylic spray product for daily cleaning. It can also be used as a pre soak for dried on bugs and road grime. Rolite also makes scratch removal products. We carry some of these here on our website.

8: If I don't see my bike, model, year, etc. on your website, can Madstad make a system for me?
We have our complete and most current available product lineup listed on our website. To find your model, you can either search at the top or use the "Shop by Model" models can be found under the "Motorcycles" and “Adventure Vehicles” options in the navigation menu, which are categorized by manufacturer. The search function will also bring up products by make and model.

9: What if I am taller or shorter than the heights suggested for shields available?
We offer a variety of sized windshields within each specific system. This, combined with the up/down and angle adjustments that are built into the system brackets, we're confident that you'll find the best size windshield for your application.
10: Do you offer custom windshields?
We do not offer custom windshields, but our many available shapes can be ordered without holes. To do this you'd order from the Shields Only collection. Select the size and color, then click "Add to Cart". During checkout, type in "NO HOLES" in the Order Notes.
11: Where can I go to find out more about the Madstad system?
You can visit fan forum pages for your particular make and model of bike (there are tons of internet forums out there!). Just search "Madstad", and you'll find plenty of reviews. You can also visit our YouTube channel for some video demo’s, as well as connecting with us on Instagram and Facebook.
12: Can I combine two or more discount offers?
We occasionally offer a special promotional discount offer to our email subscriber list. This may not be combined with any other promotional offer.
