Madstad Adjustable Windshield System for Yamaha FJ-09 (2015 - 2018)
What's included
Our complete drop-in system is custom-made for your bike and includes everything needed to mount and position the shield. Your bike will not require any modification.

Our windshield has a lot more width at the bottom to provide a much wider pocket of protection, and we've included a hand guard modification kit so that you won't be pushing on the wider edges of our windshield at full lock. The Madstad brackets extend the shield out in front of your instrument cluster so you can adjust it for the optimum height, angle and airflow. This lets you set the shield for your particular height and riding position while pulling lots of air underneath it which is critical for smooth comfortable wind protection.
All Madstad windshields are made from 3/16" (4.5 mm) thick cast acrylic.

All our windshields come in three color options (clear, medium gray and dark gray), as well as multiple sizes. Here are our best guidelines for measuring to find your optimal windshield size:
1) Review provided photo to determine the measuring point on the bike.
2) Measure up from the measuring point, maintaining the angle of the forks (two wheeled vehicles, 55-60 degrees for other models).
3) Select the windshield size that will be aligned to mouth level.
All of our adjustable brackets have at least 2" of up down range to fine tune the fit and about 15 degrees of angle adjustment used to dial in clean air.

Second Windscreen from Madstand both very well made and functional. I am just under 6 feet tall 5’11 started with the 22” screen felt a bit tall. So I tried the 20”. I think the 20 looks and feels better overall but, If I were spending the day at interstate speed I’d go with the 22” I added a cross member to the brackets for additional lateral stability see pic below. After installing the Madstad setup with the 20” screen (I’m 5-11) I was generally pleased with its performance, but I felt it could have been better. I then purchased a 22” screen and am now completely satisfied. I would recommend a higher screen if you are undecided about which way to go. Very impressive design.

This shield is made of very strong material. Thick, crystal cleat, and no distortion. Fit perfect. This is a good company to deal with.

I lyv this windscreen. My neck was killing me on the highway at 60plys speeds on my spyder F3. This windscreen was the answer. I have had it for 2 wks and put about 300 miles on it and it is holding firm. Would buy again.
