Madstad Adjustable Windshield System for Triumph Tiger 800 (2018 - 2019)

What's included
Our complete drop-in system is custom-made for your bike and includes everything needed to mount and position the shield. Your bike will not require any modification.

The Madstad adjustable brackets sit out in front of your instrument cluster on an aluminum base plate. The shield is positioned same as on the factory brackets and our base plate helps to deflect wind up from underneath for dramatically smoother and quieter airflow. Two inches of height and 15 degrees of angle adjustment let you dial in the smoothest airflow while still looking over the top of your shield. The included side deflectors block low and wide air to keep turbulence off your body for a calm cockpit.

All our windshields come in three color options (clear, medium gray and dark gray), as well as multiple sizes. Here are our best guidelines for measuring to find your optimal windshield size:
1) Review provided photo to determine the measuring point on the bike.
2) Measure up from the measuring point, maintaining the angle of the forks (two wheeled vehicles, 55-60 degrees for other models).
3) Select the windshield size that will be aligned to mouth level.
All of our adjustable brackets have at least 2" of up down range to fine tune the fit and about 15 degrees of angle adjustment used to dial in clean air.

Not just a shield, this is a multi-part adjustable airflow system which allows riders to dial in the height and angle of a superior distortion-free windshield resulting in much smoother and more comfortable airflow while still looking over it, not through it. Our shield is quite a bit wider than stock for better wind protection with no hand guard interference. Our side deflectors are farther back and down lower for better blockage of low airflow. The product works fairly well on my triumph 1200 speedster .. can’t get the angle of the wind screen to totally eliminate the wind entirely .. but that ok … biggest beef are the install instructions are terrible .. IKEA gives better step by step instructions.. there is not even a complete close up photo of what the unit should look like when done … I went on line and watched a gentleman who installed a wind shield on his Bonneville , and that helped .
Thanks for leaving your review Leam. We're glad that you're finding improvment over stock. Keep in mind there's also height adjustment which could help even more. We're wondering if you were looking at a different installation manual. The one we link to with the kit has many colored photos of each step and one with the system mounted. I have the 18in windscreen but wanted to go a little bigger so I got the 20in and it’s perfect for me… I have it a little lower then the midway point and leaned back per instructions and get no buffering at all as a matter of fact I may have to put the 18in back on in the warmer months bcs that’s how much wind is blocked by the 20in screen… and the 20 fits the bike better… I uploaded some pics…

I just installed the windshield yesterday. What became quickly apparent is the overall quality of the windshield and the attachment hardware. Given the cost of the windshield, I expected it. The fellows were great to deal with, as the windshield was on backorder when I placed my order. I can't say anything about function yet, as our roads are covered in snow, but the testimony of many happy users gives me confidence that it's exactly what I was looking for.
