Madstad Adjustable Windshield System for Triumph Tiger 800 (2018 - 2019)

Compare your bike carefully to our photos. If yours has the previous generation instrument cluster, this system will not mount.

What's included
Our complete drop-in system is custom-made for your bike and includes everything needed to mount and position the shield. Your bike will not require any modification.

  • Black aluminum base plate and mounting hardware
  • A set of Madstad adjustable brackets
  • The acrylic windshield
  • Pair of acrylic side deflectors with brackets
  • All required mounting hardware

The Madstad adjustable brackets sit out in front of your instrument cluster on an aluminum base plate. The shield is positioned same as on the factory brackets and our base plate helps to deflect wind up from underneath for dramatically smoother and quieter airflow. Two inches of height and 15 degrees of angle adjustment let you dial in the smoothest airflow while still looking over the top of your shield. The included side deflectors block low and wide air to keep turbulence off your body for a calm cockpit.

Colors & sizing   How to measure video: https://youtu.be/biFx4_vVGG4

All our windshields come in three color options (clear, medium gray and dark gray), as well as multiple sizes. Here are our best guidelines for measuring to find your optimal windshield size:

1) Review provided photo to determine the measuring point on the bike.

2) Measure up from the measuring point, maintaining the angle of the forks (two wheeled vehicles, 55-60 degrees for other models).

3) Select the windshield size that will be aligned to mouth level.

All of our adjustable brackets have at least 2" of up down range to fine tune the fit and about 15 degrees of angle adjustment used to dial in clean air.

Transform your ride
Simply the best. Not just a shield, this is a multi-part adjustable airflow system which allows riders to dial in the height and angle of a superior distortion-free windshield resulting in much smoother and more comfortable airflow while still looking over it, not through it. Our shield is quite a bit wider than stock for better wind protection with no hand guard interference. Our side deflectors are farther back and down lower for better blockage of low airflow. Take a look at photos 3 and 4 at left showing you why Madstad systems work like no other.

IT. IS. AWESOME. Seriously, the best modification I've ever made, to any bike, ever! And I'm someone who likes to liberally farkle up my bike. - owned approx 30 bikes in the past 20 years. Can truly cruise along with the visor up now - absolutely NO chance of that with the standard / or triumph adventure screen. It is SOOO much quieter on my bike now - it's unbelievable."

"I tried on no less than 6 different screens on my Tiger 800 and finally put back the Madstad on the bike. No other system provided the kind of wind protection and "quiet" as did the Madstad."

A great, but sets up higher than I want

I bought this kit in case I wanted to install it. What I don't like is how high and close to the rider the bar is, at least in the pics anyway. After watching every install video I could find, I seen a post on a FB page where a guy showed how he installed bar in between the windscreen adjusting knobs on the Madstad windshield kit. I will try to use the bar in this kit, if the adjuster knobs are threaded the same, though I will have to shorten the bar by about 1/4"-3/8". I think this will be a cleaner install, and lower which will suit my preferences. I still think this is a good kit, I was just looking for a little tighter install. Some of my reasoning is I intend to use an iPad mini for navigation, and as large as that is, keeping the install with tight spacing will ensure I don't obscure too much windscreen.

Way more solid than stock!

Bought this windshield for my 2025 Pan Am CVO, it went on perfectly. So much more solid than stock. Not as easy to adjust, yet more adjustable. If you want a better windshield for your Pan Am, THIS is the one!

Review

The windshield has great quality and is very sturdy.

Issue is, I do not feel much difference in wind protection. I tried all 9 combinations of angle versus position of the shield and to me wind noise is present at all combinations same as before installing wind shield.

Thank you for leaving your review, Koorosh. Normally, our Rocket customers experience much better results. Let's see if we can't make that happen for you.

It sounds like you've tried many angle adjustments. We also recommend, if you have not already done so, to adjust the height of the windshield during the testing/dialing in rides. The top edge should be aligned to about mouth level, or slightly higher, to achieve the maximum results.

If you've raised the windshield to the highest setting, and the top edge is not high enough, then you won't get clean air. If you determine that your windshield is too short, we have a program where you can receive a taller size at 50% list pricing. This offer is extended for 45 days after you receive the windshield system. Please take a look at our FAQs page, topic #2 and contact us at support@madstad.com to order. You will not be sending anything back to us. Thank you, Madstad Support Team

LOVE MY KICKSTAND SHOE!!

I love my Honda CTX DCT, but the kickstand never felt sturdy enough to fully support the bike—especially on uneven ground. After it tipped over last year as I approached it, I knew I needed a more stable solution. I’m happy to say I finally found it! Easy to install and a total game-changer. Confident, secure, and a joy to use

Excellent Product

Super easy to install and works fantastic! As a side note, I ordered my windshield too tall. I installed the windshield, and used some painter's tape to establish the correct height. I placed some poster board behind the windshield and traced the contours of the edge on the poster board. I covered the top several inches of the windshield with the painter's tape and used the poster board pattern to mark on the tape where I needed to cut it down. I then cut the windshield down using a Dremel with a 1 1/2" cut off wheel for plastic, sanded the cuts, and used a small torch to heat the edges. Ended up perfect. I took off about 2 1/4" - so the point is be careful to measure what size windshield you need to avoid the extra work above, but you can modify it if you have too.
