Madstad Adjustable Windshield System for Suzuki DR650 (1996 & Up)

What's included
Our complete bolt-on system is custom-made for your bike and includes everything needed to mount and position the shield. Your bike will not require any modification.

  • A set of Madstad adjustable dual-sport brackets
  • Acrylic windshield
  • All required mounting hardware

The Madstad brackets bolt to the top of your fork clamps and are completely free of the handlebars. You can adjust the shield for the optimum height, angle and airflow for comfortable street and highway riding. When going off-road you can leave your comfort adjustment as-is and pivot the entire system down and forward in front of the headlight so you can get it out of your face completely. When it comes time to hit the pavement again, simply pivot it back up and you are back in street riding comfort mode.

All Madstad windshields are made from 3/16" (4.5 mm) thick cast acrylic.

Colors & sizing    https://youtu.be/biFx4_vVGG4
All our windshields come in three color options (clear, medium gray and dark gray), as well as multiple sizes. Here are our best guidelines for measuring to find your optimal windshield size:

1) Review provided photo to determine the measuring point on the bike.

2) Measure up from the measuring point, maintaining the angle of the forks (two wheeled vehicles, 55-60 degrees for other models).

3) Select the windshield size that will be aligned to mouth level.

All of our adjustable brackets have at least 2" of up down range to fine tune the fit and about 15 degrees of angle adjustment used to dial in clean air.

Transform your ride
Madstad's patented mounting system allows riders to adjust the height and angle of their motorcycle windshield resulting in much smoother airflow, better wind protection and a more comfortable ride than any fixed windshield can provide. Better still, this dual-sport version pivots the shield down and forward to get it out of your way for off-road riding!

Great windscreen

I have the 18in windscreen but wanted to go a little bigger so I got the 20in and it’s perfect for me… I have it a little lower then the midway point and leaned back per instructions and get no buffering at all as a matter of fact I may have to put the 18in back on in the warmer months bcs that’s how much wind is blocked by the 20in screen… and the 20 fits the bike better… I uploaded some pics…

Great people, great product

I just installed the windshield yesterday. What became quickly apparent is the overall quality of the windshield and the attachment hardware. Given the cost of the windshield, I expected it. The fellows were great to deal with, as the windshield was on backorder when I placed my order. I can't say anything about function yet, as our roads are covered in snow, but the testimony of many happy users gives me confidence that it's exactly what I was looking for.

Tener 700 18"

Just got it. Came we mounting screws but that was quickly remedied. Good support, very solid product. I have not ridden it yet but had one years ago on a vstrom and I expect it will be great.
