  • This all-aluminum kit not only dresses up the front of your Polaris RZR 1000 or RZR 900 (2014-2018) but also protects against damage. Our headlight protectors are aluminum framed with a clear shatter-proof polycarbonate lens riveted in. Our front grille is two-piece aluminum with a rear black honeycomb screen for great airflow and protection, and a 3-dimensional front mounting ring which holds the 30W LED spotlight bar and is color matched to the headlight protectors. Unlike the cheaper steel grilles, these will never rust and are powder-coated for great looks and durability. All of the hardware is stainless. Fits the standard 2014 to 2018 RZR XP 1000, RZR S 1000, RZR XP 4 1000, 2015-2018 RZR 900, RZR 900 XC, RZR S 900, RZR 4 900, RZR S 4 900. These DO NOT fit the Turbo models.

    Excellent Product, But…

Love the 22” shield with GPS bar on my Harley Pan America. Solid hardware, perfect fit, and creates a cone of silence (I’m 6’ riding on a tall seat). I’m proud to support companies that make product in the USA. That said, the assembly documentation did not meet expectations. Most of the fasteners were mixed in one bag, so it took a while to organize. Throughout the instructions, nomenclature was mis-used (e.g. lock washer instead of lock nut). But the bigger issue was lack of detail on how the hardware pieces should be oriented. Given all pieces are black, the illustrations were marginally useful. I also watched the assembly video on the Madstad website; a bit better, but the technician glossed over the important detail. Hope this helps… Again, I love the product, and will purchase again for other bikes.

    Improvement

Great overall improvement, but it needed a little "tweaking" to make it more easily adjustable.

    Madstad Windshield for DR 650

Awesome windshield looks great and it’s adjustable taking about a hour to install. Definitely no regrets here. Love this windshield

    Works Better.

Works better than the Puig touring I replaced. Big improvement.

Nice tall windshield. Wobbles a bit from the detachable bracket. But it for sure isn’t going anywhere.

“Before their install, I suffered from the constant, unmitigated buffeting at speeds above 40 mph. Now I can hear the engine, and that's a sound I like!"

“I have a stack of other windshields. I've bought over the years before I discovered the Madstad system, and none of them compare. Do yourself a favor and just buy the Madstad first!"

“Long rides at freeway speeds were the worst because of the buffeting. I installed the 18" Madstad screen, keeping it at the lowest setting, and the buffeting is gone. I now have a nice quiet air flow around my head and upper torso, regardless of speed.”
