Ground Support For Your KTM 790 Adventure

This aluminum kickstand shoe and extension helps prevent tip-overs and sinking into soft ground. It is much wider than the factory kickstand bottom but particularly extends outward to give your bike great support against tip-overs. It fully clears the body when in the up position and has a textured bottom surface for extra grip. The base is aluminum and has a drain hole in the main cavity. The top plate and screws are stainless steel and an installation wrench is included. This shoe is a very tight fit and won't budge once installed. Every KTM 790 should have one.  Made in the USA.

Super Tenere, meh, I wish I could have bought just the bracket/mount

Got the whole kit for the Yamaha Super Tenere. Not impressed, wrong side arms were sent with the order. I had to make my own.

Then the Madstad Windshield itself is worse than stock. Lots of turbulence. I ended buying a Puig Touring Windsield that fits well on the Madstad bracket/mount.

Too bad Madstad no longer sells the bracket/mounts alone. I give one star for the package deal and 2 stars for the service. Because folks at Madstad were really nice trying to accommodate I had with the wrong parts. I would give 4 stars for the bracket/mounts if sold alone at half the current price of the kit.

Amazing Shield

Windshield is awesome. Fit well. Only issue was hardware not labeled. Plus paper, plastic washers aren't the best. Size wise and strength not up to par!! Thx for hearing me vent.

Thank you for leaving your review Tony. We appreciate the feedback, it is valuable and helps us improve. We are working toward a labeling system for the kits with the most hardware. That should help with the install guide hardware layout. Regarding the washer materials, we chose the thin black plastic washers for between the windshield and screw head since the purpose is to prevent gouging into the windshield. Rubber would not do the same job in terms of properly tightening the windshield screws. The other one you may be referencing is a fiber washer which manages friction between the adjustable bracket components. It's proven to hold up very well so you should not have any worries. Goldwing GL1800 turbulance solved.

Great customer service and fast shipping. They had mine in stock or made is lightning fast because I got it in two days (florida to florida). You have to play with the height and tilt to get best results. The windshield is very clear and all the parts are high quality. Installation took me maybe about an hour or two and I'm not a very skilled technical person. I took my bike for about 10 runs and found a perfect height and tilt for me where it eliminates the turbulance above 50mph caused by the stock windshield. you still get wind, maybe more wind but it's smooth so your helmet isnt bobbling around. I got the 12" version.
