  • Madstad Adjustable Windshield System for Honda Gold Wing F6B (2013 - 2017)

    What's included
Our complete drop-in system is custom-made for your bike and includes everything needed to mount and position the shield. Your bike will not require any modification.

    • Black acrylic base plate
    • Madstad adjustable brackets
    • The acrylic windshield
    • All required mounting hardware

Our acrylic base plate replaces the stock shield and our adjustable brackets bolt to this plate. With the shield separated from the front of the bike you can now adjust it for the optimum height, angle and airflow. This lets you set the shield for your particular height and riding position while pulling lots of air underneath it which is critical for smooth comfortable wind protection.

All Madstad windshields are made from 3/16" (4.5 mm) thick cast acrylic.

    Colors & sizing
All our windshields come in three color options (clear, medium gray and dark gray), as well as multiple sizes. Here are our best guidelines for measuring to find your optimal windshield size:

    How to measure video: https://youtu.be/biFx4_vVGG4

    1) Review provided photo to determine the measuring point on the bike.

    2) Measure up from the measuring point, maintaining the angle of the forks (two wheeled vehicles, 55-60 degrees for other models).

    3) Select the windshield size that will be aligned to mouth level.

All of our adjustable brackets have at least 2" of up down range to fine tune the fit and about 15 degrees of angle adjustment used to dial in clean air.

    Transform your ride
There is simply no comparison in comfort. We separate the windshield from the fairing to eliminate buffeting and our patented mounting system allows riders to adjust the height and angle resulting in much smoother airflow, better wind protection and a more comfortable ride than any fixed windshield can provide. You'll feel like it's a completely different bike!

    Customer Testimonial
"Just wanted to give you a little feedback on your F6B product. It is going on 2 years and @ 30,000 miles including a 6,700 mile cross country trip (with temps ranging from 40 to 108, rain, shine and the longest day being just over 800 miles). Your product has worked great and have had no problems with it (other than it doesn’t self-clean the bug splatter =). I would not hesitate to buy it again and recommend it to others in person and on the motorcycle boards."

    Looks great!

Easy to install. Puts wind over my helmet and removes chest pressure. Took a little bit find the right height and angle but once there is great.

    Impressed

Replaced the OEM screen on my new Yamaha Super Tenere shortly after purchasing the bike. Went with the 22” screen with medium tint. It’s not cheap but custom made for my motorcycle.

It’s approx 5” taller than the stock shield. Quality of the windshield and bracket is impressive. The bracket alone is a huge improvement over the finicky Yamaha bracket. I would faff about adjusting it, not the Madstad, super easy and fast to fine tune. The ability to adjust the angle and height of the windshield is great. I’m still tweaking it for my personal taste- not sure about looking through the screen, helmet buffeting is minimal and likely eliminated once I get the perfect degree of tilt.

The Madstad is very quiet and I can ride at Hwy speeds with my face shield wide open even when the screen is not at the max height. Highly recommend.

Madstad - 2023 Harley Fat Bob

I recently installed a Madstad windshield on my 2023 Harley Fat Bob and so far, I couldn't be happier.

The install was very easy, the windshield works great and is easy to remove.

    Good coverage go highway

Originally got 18 dark. The 24 tinted gives more coverage & protection for highway travels. Seems a bit off symmetrically, brackets are not bent. In lowest position I still look over it, I’m 5’8”. This is my 4th MadStad.

    1996 Goldwing

Replaced a very tall windshield on the Goldwing with the Madstad and have put about 400 miles down with it. The adjustability is excellent, lower it for 1up riding, pull it up for the Mrs. Still get a little wind but no buffering. I highly recommend it, follow the video for sizing. Great product.

“Before their install, I suffered from the constant, unmitigated buffeting at speeds above 40 mph. Now I can hear the engine, and that's a sound I like!"

“I have a stack of other windshields. I've bought over the years before I discovered the Madstad system, and none of them compare. Do yourself a favor and just buy the Madstad first!"

“Long rides at freeway speeds were the worst because of the buffeting. I installed the 18" Madstad screen, keeping it at the lowest setting, and the buffeting is gone. I now have a nice quiet air flow around my head and upper torso, regardless of speed.”
