Madstad Adjustable Pivoting Windshield System for Triumph Rocket 3 R or GT (2020 & Up)
What's included
Our complete drop-in system requires no modification and includes everything needed to mount and position the shield:
- Dash-mount pivoting windshield brackets BLACK POWDER COATED
- Touring windshield
- All required mounting hardware
In stock mode the shield is positioned down against the fairing, just like the stock shield on the Rocket 3 GT. You will still get wind protection like this because our shield is quite a bit larger than stock. The magic happens when you pull out two locking plungers which allows the system to pivot up and lock in the forward position. Now you can have highway comfort without turbulence, fully adjustable like all of our other systems. When tilting the brackets back down again there is no need to change the angle or height so you can instantly snap back to highway mode without any further adjustments.
Will our brackets work with the stock GT shield? Yes, but you can see in the photos how small that factory shield is (10" wide by 13-3/4" tall) so you won't get much wind protection out of it.

20 inch shield: 17-19 inches

All our windshields come in three color options (clear, medium gray and dark gray), as well as multiple sizes. Here are our best guidelines for measuring to find your optimal windshield size:
1) Review provided photo to determine the measuring point on the bike.
2) Measure up from the measuring point, maintaining the angle of the forks (two wheeled vehicles, 55-60 degrees for other models).
3) Select the windshield size that will be aligned to mouth level.
All of our adjustable brackets have at least 2" of up down range to fine tune the fit and about 15 degrees of angle adjustment used to dial in clean air.

Madstad's new adjustable bracket system allows riders to keep the laid-back angle of the stock shield for around-town riding, or pivot and lock the shield forward for great highway wind protection. Either way you can adjust the height and angle of the shield for smooth airflow, better wind protection and a more comfortable ride than any fixed windshield can provide. It only takes seconds to snap the system from upright to laid back, and no tools are needed.

Installed the 16 inch on my 2008 Goldwing everything is set at its lowest level. I see over about 2 inches over the top and absolutely no buffering at all for me or my wife. I do get air flowing past me, but it’s smooth clean air. My wife and I went out yesterday for about 100 mile ride maybe a little more than that and most of the way I was between 65 and 70 never lowered the shield on my helmet. No need for it with this windshield. Highly recommend.

I have tried several name brand windshields trying to stop wind buffeting nothing work. I was skeptical at first about your shield because of past failures. But this shield works, it has completely stop the buffeting even running the interstate at 80 mph. Thanks satisfied customer

The product works fairly well on my triumph 1200 speedster .. can’t get the angle of the wind screen to totally eliminate the wind entirely .. but that ok … biggest beef are the install instructions are terrible .. IKEA gives better step by step instructions.. there is not even a complete close up photo of what the unit should look like when done … I went on line and watched a gentleman who installed a wind shield on his Bonneville , and that helped .

We're wondering if you were looking at a different installation manual. The one we link to with the kit has many colored photos of each step and one with the system mounted. No problem instructions with shield. Found online but Impossible to read on phone. Must modify existing to accept by removing sleeve and circlip making it easy to loose factory parts and hard to put back as assembled by BMW
