This gull-wing design allows you to benefit from having no bars or pillars to block your view. The top acrylic panels have been designed to provide sun blocking. This is a very useful feature for viewing traffic lights at certain times of the day.

I replaced my Polaris Slingshade for my 2021 Slingshot with the Phoenix Rising Rooftop System and enjoying it very much. With Phoenix Rising top my vision is not blocked from seeing as it was with the Slingshade (had to look under front crossbar to see the street lights). I did have a couple of issue where part of the install hardware was missing and safety issue where the gull wings would pop off the hinge pin while driving at 65 MPH. After talking to MADSTAD and explained the issues they sent out the missing hardware. MADSTAD listen about the hinge pin issue for the gull wing and sent me new modified hinge pins which worked out perfectly. Receiving one of the first production model of the Phoenix Rising I understand there going to issues, I am very happy with results.
I would like to thank MADSTAD for listening and fixing the issues I had in timely manner!
