2011 f800gs

Madstat has been one of the best company’s that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Their customer service is as good as it gets. Very friendly and fair. I had some technical issues with my f800gs windscreen (at no fault on their part) and they were very accommodating in coming to a fair solution on my behalf. Thanks again MADSTAT. I’ll be a returning customer for as long as I can ride a motorcycle.

As advertised

Installed the 22" on my Husqvarna 701 Enduro. Install was very easy. I maybe should have opted for the 18" in retrospect, it seems very large but does stop the wind from hitting my helmet which I wanted. I like the adjustability. It shakes a bit at high speeds but does not appear to be going anywhere. I doubt it will fatigue fail even after years of use (I am a mechanical engineer). It is easy to take on/off too. I have only ridden a few miles with it so far but it did include a highway run at highway speeds.

Great shield incomplete fab

The windshield itself is worth every penny does exactly what it says it does when mine showed up the base plate was kissing the holes to attach the actual windshield brackets to it but a quick search on the fb6 group i could see where they needed to be and drilled some holes works great and highly recommend

Needed a few tweaks

Was never happy with stock shield (too much wind on body) and one aftermarket shield. Bought this, hoping it would do the trick. I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of installation, for the most part, although some tweaking was required. The 2 rear support brackets for the aluminum base plate to the bodywork weren't quite bent right, and I had to really work to make them align with the holes. After many attempts, success. Then a test ride, to find out the the shield rattled quite a bit on the lower pivot screws. I tightened those just a bit, and the problem seems solved.
I have yet to take a really long sustained ride (a couple 150 mile days) and have yet to be on the interstate. But, I am very happy with it so far, and expect good results in the future.
