  • Madstad Quick-Release Fly Screen System for Triumph Thunderbird Storm (2011 & Up)

    What's included
Our complete drop-in system requires no modification and includes everything needed to mount the fly screen:

    • Fork-mount quick-release base plates
    • Quick-detach fly screen

    Additional optional components:

    • Quick-detach touring shield
    • Quick-detach lower deflectors (must have the touring shield)

The touring shield option has our adjustable brackets for touring comfort and our quick-detach lower deflectors block lower turbulence for a smoother ride. Each of those options is available on their own pages.

Removing or attaching the fly screen simply takes a flip of two locking tabs then the brackets with shield slide right up off of the forks. Only a small bracket on each side is left behind (see photos).

    Transform your ride

Madstad's quick release fly screen gives you some basic wind protection with the ability to quickly detach it without tools so you can easily switch back to stock bike mode. Better still you can upgrade this system anytime by adding our touring windshield and/or our detachable lowers kit for even more wind protection.

    Almost perfect

Quality in product is nice. The problem I had was well nuts wasn't enough. When I installed shield the holes weren't lined up and was afraid being pulled to line up the well nuts would pull out on the road. This may have been my bike fault. So I installed threaded rivets. Gave it a more rugged look. I've had mine since the company put them out. Performed flawless for many years, even with modification that may have been my fairing that created minor problem

I LOVE this windscreen! It was easy to install, looks great, the adjustments both in pitch and height really make a difference.

Great Windshield for BMW F 750 GS

I recently purchased a '23 BMW F750 GS and knew at purchase that the stock windscreen would have to go. A couple 2hr + rides proved that fact. After researching several aftermarket and OEM options, I purchased the Madstad 16' Adjustable windscreen w/side deflectors. It is a great choice! At the lowest level (I'm 5'9"), it puts the airstream right over my head. At the highest setting and a slight inward angle, it seems to work even better, making slightly less noise. Highly recommend this set-up

“Before their install, I suffered from the constant, unmitigated buffeting at speeds above 40 mph. Now I can hear the engine, and that's a sound I like!"

“I have a stack of other windshields. I've bought over the years before I discovered the Madstad system, and none of them compare. Do yourself a favor and just buy the Madstad first!"

“Long rides at freeway speeds were the worst because of the buffeting. I installed the 18" Madstad screen, keeping it at the lowest setting, and the buffeting is gone. I now have a nice quiet air flow around my head and upper torso, regardless of speed.”
