Riding is believing
With the fully adjustable windshield you have a much smoother pocket of protection so you can relax and enjoy long rides in quieter comfort. If you want more air simply tilt the shield back, or uncouple the shield system in seconds to go back to naked bike mode for hot days or around-town riding. We've added a fly screen that stays on the bike and helps smooth airflow.
Size and Color
While the MadStad windshield systems are fully adjustable, we recommend starting with the appropriate shield size relative to rider height.

These are general recommendations and can vary depending on your inseam, seat height and riding position. We can also accommodate extra short or tall riders by special request.
HOW TO MEASURE: To find where the top of our shield is going to be in its lowest position, sit on the bike in riding position, then run a tape measure straight up from the top center of the handlebar. Estimate about where your mouth level is then add 3 inches (7.6 cm), and that would be the shield size that comes to that point. For example, if your measurement straight up to mouth level is 19 inches then that is where the top of the 22 inch windshield will be when in its lowest position. You will have 2 more inches for height adjustment but you want to make sure you are looking over that top edge when it is all the way down.
