THE MOST COMFORTABLE WIND PROTECTION A MOTORCYCLE CAN HAVE
Made a World of difference. Could not be happy enough.
Went with the 22" - might be a little too large (I'm about 5'9"). But solid quality and installation was easy.
Really changed my long rides and my enjoyment of the bike even more. 2022 Triumph Bonneville T120. 20” Highly recommend!
Nice quality, good mounting system and quick release. Adjustable in height and angle. Lots of buffeting on head with 18” so I’ve ordered a 22” replacement which Madstad gives you for half price if you get the wrong one initially. I believe the 22 will remedy my issues. Satisfied thus far.
We appreciate you leaving your review. Great to see that you're liking the quick release function and find the quality to your high standards. We agree with you that the taller size should allow the airflow to better clear your head. If you have a chance, please keep us posted once you've ridden behind the new size.

For the price, the parts are cheap. This thing wobbles to no and and doesn't really deflect the wind. It creates odd buffeting that pulls my shirt up while riding. The use of a cross member could have easily solved the wobble. Im thinking a better shape could have solved buffeting. I can not recommend this product and feel that i was taken by promises that were not delivered on
Thank you for leaving your review Zachary.
Disappointment is the last thing we strive for, so we intend to work with you to ensure that ultimately you get the same performance out of our T100 product that so many of our other Bonneville customers do. We've addressed each of your concerns below, but if not satisfied in the end, we ask that you please contact us at support@madstad.com.
Windshield parts:
Our windshields are formed using 3/16' hardened cast acrylic, a very rigid and long lasting material. There are some recommended windshield care tips on our faq's page and we also have cleaner kits available found on our accessories page.
Metal parts:
These are manufactured using cnc laser cut 11 gauge stainless steel that is hand finished and powder coat protected. This thickness is specifically used to provide stiffness for the wind and road forces.
Please follow the below steps to remedy the unwanted movement:
Add stiffness to the system with the following steps:
1. Place windshield and brackets (together) onto the quick-release spools. Place locking key into position.
2. Use a 10mm open wrench and #4 Allen tool to tighten the round receivers (2 per side).
*The objective is to find the point which allows you to remove and insert the brackets into the round spool receivers for the quick-release. This should significantly reduce and minimize windshield and bracket movement. There will always be some flexing of materials, otherwise it will lead to cracking. However, it should not be excessive.
3. After test riding, ensure that all 4 round receivers have kept the same tension.
Dialing in clean airflow:
*The knobs are partially loosened to adjust the height. They need to be loosened more to adjust the angle range settings. The goal is to experiment with short rides getting up to speed, preferably on the same stretch of road and with low wind conditions.
*We are assuming that you have the correct size windshield. To check this, set the windshield to the lowest height setting and in the middle angle setting. When sitting on the bike, if the top edge is aligned with your chin or higher, that size should work for you. If not, please still try the steps below, but keep in mind that you may need a taller size. We have a program for that. Please contact us at support@madstad.com to set this up. Details can be found on our faq's page.
1. For most customers, especially riding no fairing or cowling models, finding an optimal setting can take some work. The best method we've found is to first have the windshield in the lowest setting and at an angle similar to the forks.
2. Now experiment by only adjusting the HEIGHT and not the angle. Work through the height range to find the best relative setting.
3. Then begin making SMALL angle settings, but not making adjustments to the height. Find the best relative angle.
4. Go back to step 2 and 3 until you've found the best overall height and angle combination setting.
What the Madstad windshield sytem allows is for you to bring airflow up and underneath the windshield and vent out the back pressures. Based on your description, this has not yet been accomplished. We encourage you to keep experimenting. We're confident that there is a good setting to be had for you.
Thank you - Madstad Team
