  • Madstad Quick-Release Adjustable Windshield System for Triumph Speedmaster (2018 & Up)

Compatible with all stock fork tube diameters

    What's included
Our complete drop-in system requires no modification and includes everything needed to mount and position the shield:

    • Fork-mount quick-release base plates
    • Quick-detach adjustable windshield brackets
    • Touring windshield
    • All required mounting hardware

    Additional optional components:

    • Quick-detach lower deflectors
    • Quick-detach fly screen

The touring shield is positioned in front of your instrument cluster and the adjustable brackets allow you to set it for the most comfortable airflow depending on your particular height and riding position. Adjustability is critical for smooth comfortable wind protection while looking over the shield, not through it!

Removing or attaching the windshield simply takes a flip of two locking tabs then the brackets with shield slide right up off of the forks. Only a small bracket on each side is left behind (see photos).

All Madstad windshields are made from 3/16"" (4.5 mm) thick cast acrylic.

Colors & sizing    How to measure video: https://youtu.be/biFx4_vVGG4

All our windshields come in three color options (clear, medium gray and dark gray), as well as multiple sizes. Here are our best guidelines for measuring to find your optimal windshield size:

    1) Review provided photo to determine the measuring point on the bike.

    2) Measure up from the measuring point, maintaining the angle of the forks (two wheeled vehicles, 55-60 degrees for other models).

    3) Select the windshield size that will be aligned to mouth level.

All of our adjustable brackets have at least 2" of up down range to fine tune the fit and about 15 degrees of angle adjustment used to dial in clean air.

    Transform your ride
Madstad’s patented adjustable shield system allows riders to adjust the height and angle of their motorcycle windshield resulting in much smoother airflow, better wind protection and a more comfortable ride than any fixed windshield can provide. Better still, this system is quickly detachable without tools so you can switch back and forth easily from touring shield to original bike.

Fit perfectly but directions were lacking. NC750X

The windscreen and brackets fit perfectly. But the directions could be better. Especially the pictures of the plastics that have to come off were of poor quality.

    Wind blaster

Got the tallest windshield for my road king special available I’m 6’3 wind buffeting worse than no windshield.

    The one to get

I’ve tried almost every windshield available for the NC700x, even the CalSci - this is the one to get. Aside from the adjustability and deflectors, the brackets are strong enough that the windshield doesn’t flop around on bumps.

    V85TT 6'2 perfect

After a few adjustments I now have the perfect setting and angle on my V85TT, I'm 6'2 with the 20" screen, tilted full back, lowest position normally, max up in strong head winds. I have done 60 000km (37 000miles) with this setup in all types of weather and could not live without it. I did try the genuine Guzzi tall screen, it was terrible. I tried a wing deflector on top of the stock screen (better then both stock and tall genuine but still lots of buffeting). The Madstad is as good as I've been able to find. You're still on a bike pushing through the air at 100mph but it's bloody good for me with very little to no pressure on my helmet and very little shake and buffeting. I can ride along easily at 70mph with my visor open. Note I have an Arai Profile V helmet.

“Before their install, I suffered from the constant, unmitigated buffeting at speeds above 40 mph. Now I can hear the engine, and that's a sound I like!"

“I have a stack of other windshields. I've bought over the years before I discovered the Madstad system, and none of them compare. Do yourself a favor and just buy the Madstad first!"

“Long rides at freeway speeds were the worst because of the buffeting. I installed the 18" Madstad screen, keeping it at the lowest setting, and the buffeting is gone. I now have a nice quiet air flow around my head and upper torso, regardless of speed.”
