Madstad Quick-Release Fly Screen System for your Triumph Speedmaster (2018 & Up)

What's included
Our complete drop-in system requires no modification and includes everything needed to mount the fly screen:
- Fork-mount quick-release base plates
- Quick-detach flyscreen
- All required mounting hardware
Additional optional components:
- Quick-detach touring shield
- Quick-detach lower deflectors (must have the touring shield)
The touring shield option has our adjustable brackets for touring comfort and our quick-detach lower deflectors block lower turbulence for a smoother ride. Each of those options is available on their own pages.
Removing or attaching the fly screen simply takes a flip of two locking tabs then the brackets with shield slide right up off of the forks. Only a small bracket on each side is left behind (see photos).

THE MOST COMFORTABLE WIND PROTECTION A MOTORCYCLE CAN HAVE

I wanted a windscreen for my (2025) DR650 that would provide good protection for highway slogs but would also fold out of the way once I hit dirt. There aren't many options available that meet those two criteria. I (obviously) went with the Madstad.
I chose the 18" screen and that's a good height for me. [I'm 6' but have a short torso and sit low on a motorcycle.] There's a ton of adjustment but that's a double-edged sword. It took me forever to find The Perfect Setting (tm) but at least there is one! And once you find it, mark the extensions so you can get back to it. The installation was easy, BTW.
I read a couple forum posts claiming the extensions were flimsy. I disagree. I've already ridden through some gnarsty (eastern) Colorado winds and the screen did just fine.

very satisfied with this purchase. 2023 ktm 890 adventure original windshield isn't very good. This windshield is far superior. I have the 16" version which is about 2 inches or so taller . much larger pocket. my ears greatly appreciate how much quieter it is now.

Installed the 16 inch on my 2008 Goldwing everything is set at its lowest level. I see over about 2 inches over the top and absolutely no buffering at all for me or my wife. I do get air flowing past me, but it’s smooth clean air. My wife and I went out yesterday for about 100 mile ride maybe a little more than that and most of the way I was between 65 and 70 never lowered the shield on my helmet. No need for it with this windshield. Highly recommend.

I have tried several name brand windshields trying to stop wind buffeting nothing work. I was skeptical at first about your shield because of past failures. But this shield works, it has completely stop the buffeting even running the interstate at 80 mph. Thanks satisfied customer
