  • Adjustable Windshield System for your Triumph Tiger 1200 (2017-2022)

    Transform your ride
MadStad's patented mounting system allows riders to adjust the height and angle of their motorcycle windshield resulting in much smoother airflow, better wind protection and a more comfortable ride than any fixed windshield can provide. Our windshield is wider for a better pocket of protection, and clearer for a distortion-free view when looking down through it.

    What's included in the kit
This complete drop-in system is custom-made for your bike and includes everything needed to mount and position the shield. Your bike will not require any modification. Our system includes:

    • MadStad adjustable brackets (height and angle adjustment)
    • The acrylic windshield (2" wider per side than stock)
    • Center deflector (behind the main windshield)

Our bracket system attaches where the stock shield mounts so it will not affect your factory height adjustment feature. The center deflector is designed to help channel airflow up underneath the windshield, and also to block incoming air there.

With the shield attached to our brackets you can now adjust it for the optimum height, angle and airflow. This lets you set the shield for your particular height and riding position while pulling lots of air underneath it which is critical for smooth comfortable wind protection. Height adjustment alone is not enough to produce smooth airflow, and even a 3 degree change in angle can make a big difference.

    Size and Color
While MadStad windshield systems are fully adjustable, we recommend starting with the appropriate shield size relative to rider height. These are general recommendations and can vary depending on your inseam, seat height and riding position:

    5'6" to 5'8" (168 - 173 cm) 18" (45 cm)
    5'8" to 5'11" (173 - 180 cm) 20" (50 cm)
    6'0" to 6'2" (183 - 188 cm) 22" (55 cm)
    6'3" and taller (190+ cm) 24" (60 cm)

HOW TO MEASURE: Sit on the bike and have a helper stand a ruler or tape measure straight up from the top edge of the instrument panel (see image at left). Look straight ahead and estimate about where your chin level is, then add either 9" or 10", whichever gets you to an even number. For example, if you estimate chin level at about 10" on the tape then you would order the 20" windshield. This is where the top edge of our 20" will be when set at the lowest factory and lowest MadStad bracket position.

All MadStad windshields are made from 3/16" (4.5 mm) thick cast acrylic and are available in six different colors. See photos bar for comparison image.

“Before their install, I suffered from the constant, unmitigated buffeting at speeds above 40 mph. Now I can hear the engine, and that's a sound I like!"

“I have a stack of other windshields. I've bought over the years before I discovered the Madstad system, and none of them compare. Do yourself a favor and just buy the Madstad first!"

“Long rides at freeway speeds were the worst because of the buffeting. I installed the 18" Madstad screen, keeping it at the lowest setting, and the buffeting is gone. I now have a nice quiet air flow around my head and upper torso, regardless of speed.”
