    What's included
    Our complete drop-in system is custom-made for the FTR1200 and includes everything needed to mount and position the quick-release shield system. Your bike will not require any modification.

    • A set of Madstad mini base brackets
    • Quick-release flyscreen brackets
    • Acrylic flyscreen
    • All required mounting hardware 

    The Madstad base brackets are very minimal in size and they stay on the bike whether the shield system is on or off. Once assembled you can remove the fly screen instantly without tools, making attachment and detachment quick and simple!

    Get basic wind protection without sacrificing original bike style. Madstad’s flyscreen locks onto its mini quick-release brackets in seconds, no tools needed. You get a mini around-town windshield for basic wind protection without sacrificing style. If you want to go back to the original stock bike configuration it comes right off in seconds, or even upgrade later to our optional Adjustable Shield System.

    Size and Color
    Our flyscreen for the FTR1200 is 10 inches tall and comes only in Dark Gray. It is made from the same 3/16" cast acrylic as our touring shields but is non-adjustable and will stay in the position shown in the photos below.

    Got the light tint and it looks really nice on my Africa Twin. The wind noise is dramatically lessened. I highly recommend this product. Very high quality.

    Awesome windshield!

    My 2nd shield from Madstad needed a smaller one for fire road back road riding and some trial usage and this fit the bill nicely!

    A very disappointed customer.
    Bad product and worse support - would give a negative five star if I could.

    Bought a windshield and arguably got a defective product. Then had to possibly endure the worst support. It would be understandable if it was a Chinese company. Surprisingly, this is an American product. Totally disappointed.

    2022 Rocket 3R

    I bought the Madstad windshield kit for my Rocket 3 R. It was super easy to install, instructions were well written, and well packaged. After a long trip I realized I had ordered the windshield a little short. I ordered a taller replacement and was able to install it less than 5 min. I am well pleased with quality, fit and finish, and looks of my windshield.
