What's included in the kit
Our complete drop-in system is custom-made for the BMW F700GS (2013 - Up) and includes everything needed to mount and position the shield. Your bike will not require any modification.
- Black aluminum mounting plate (replaces the stock windshield)
- A set of MadStad adjustable brackets
- The acrylic windshield
- Pair of matching acrylic side deflectors
The mounting base for the brackets is a black powder-coated aluminum plate which attaches directly to the stock dashboard mounting holes. The adjustable MadStad brackets bolt to this base and your choice of windshield attaches to the brackets and becomes the new primary shield, fully adjustable for height, tilt and depth. This lets you set the shield for your particular height and riding position while pulling lots of air underneath it which is critical for smooth comfortable wind protection.
Riding is believing
With the windshield separated from the fairing riders now have control over the height and angle of the shield to eliminate the vacuum that is the primary cause of most turbulence. The result? Smooth airflow placed exactly where it’s desired. Most customers have found that they can actually get better wind protection with our smaller adjustable shield rather than a larger fixed one. No longer must you compromise wind protection to enjoy the open-air motorcycling experience.
Size and Color
While the MadStad windshield systems are fully adjustable, we recommend starting with the appropriate shield size relative to rider height.

We can also accommodate shorter riders by special request.
NOTE: The side deflectors divert the wind coming around the turn signals which hits your body from underneath. These removable winglets give you smooth riding comfort beyond what any windshield can do, and a larger pocket of protection. The deflectors for each kit are color matched and made from the same cast acrylic material as the windshield.
All MadStad windshields are made from 3/16" (4.5 mm) thick cast acrylic and are available in six different tint colors.
