Madstad Adjustable Windshield System for Triumph Tiger 900 Series (2021 - 2023)

GT / GT LOW/ GT PRO / RALLY / RALLY PRO

What's included
Our complete drop-in system is custom-made for your bike and includes everything needed to mount and position the shield. Your bike will not require any modification.

  • Black aluminum base plate and mounting hardware
  • A set of Madstad adjustable brackets
  • Acrylic windshield
  • Pair of acrylic side deflectors
  • All required mounting hardware

The Madstad adjustable brackets sit out in front of your instrument cluster on an aluminum fly screen. With the shield separated from the front of the bike and the fly screen helping to deflect wind up from underneath, dramatically smoother and quieter airflow is achieved. Adjust the wider shield for the optimum height, angle and airflow for your particular size and riding position. The included side deflectors go wide to block lower air to keep turbulence off your body for a calm cockpit.

All Madstad windshields are made from 3/16" (4.5 mm) thick cast acrylic.

Colors & sizing       How to measure video: https://youtu.be/biFx4_vVGG4

All our windshields come in three color options (clear, medium gray and dark gray), as well as multiple sizes. Here are our best guidelines for measuring to find your optimal windshield size:

1) Review provided photo to determine the measuring point on the bike.

2) Measure up from the measuring point, maintaining the angle of the forks (two wheeled vehicles, 55-60 degrees for other models).

3) Select the windshield size that will be aligned to mouth level.

All of our adjustable brackets have at least 2" of up down range to fine tune the fit and about 15 degrees of angle adjustment used to dial in clean air.

Transform your ride
Madstad's patented mounting system is so much more than just a replacement shield. It is a multi-part airflow system which allows riders to adjust the height and angle of their windshield resulting in much smoother airflow, better wind protection and the most comfortable and quiet ride available. The factory shield is fairly narrow and short so while it knocks some of the wind off of the face of some riders, it is still pretty noisy and lots of air still blasts your shoulders and body.

My view

Starting from the beginning first let me say that the actual windshield itself appears to be a very very high quality material and very thick. FYI the screws and bolts come all together in one bag and you have to decipher which 1 goes with which even though the instructions give you a number for the screws the screws themselves are not numbered. So that's something I think the company can work on taping the group of screws that go with each item. Other than thatIt's pretty simple installation once you figure out which screws and bolts go together the whole thing works very well if you have a sports cruiser type bike I would strongly suggestion go with the biggest size. Since you can move it up and down if you are looking for that type of windshield you are obviously looking for wind protection and the largest in my case is the best. I did not particularly get the largest because I thought it might be too big now I'm contemplating going through the exchange process So I will be contacting this company to see exactly how that works otherwise this review is about quality and the quality is there.

Thanks for leaving your review Carlos. Very glad that you're finding that the quality of the windshield meets with your standards. The feedback regarding hardware is a good one and we're looking into ways to organize the hardware pack layout across the line. In regards to another size, please take a look at our FAQ page. It lays out how to go about getting another size (or color) windshield at 50% discount. There's no exchange, so you keep the first one. Great quality, resolved buffeting issue

Great quality, small side shields that come in the package caused trubulent air on my helmet. Once I removed them everything was great.

Solid Windshield

I will admit that I do not have a ton of time behind this new windshield yet. But I have owned Madstads on previous motorcycles and had good results. I expect nothing less for this set up. So far so good, main issue was buffering with the previous windshield. None currently! For me personally I prefer the rubber bushing mounted screen, so I do not mind a little vibration wiggle that I read about in a few reviews. As for quality? No concerns there, well built in my opinion! No fitment issues what so ever! For reference, 6'2" all upper body with short legs! I ordered a 22". Now currently I have about 3/4" of adjustment left in vertical height, if needed? My guess is if I had ordered a 24", It would be run at the lowest position, versus the 22 being close to the max adjustment. Kind of splitting hairs, as to which size might have been better. No complaints and yes I would definitely buy again.... Might buy a 24" just incase! Even with the hurricanes, I still got my shield in a decent time frame! And greatly appreciated Madstad taking time to reach out and say hey... we're having some delays! Best wishes!

Huge improvement

A little tricky but lucky for me I had some new rubber pieces to replace old original klr 650 windshield hardware that's required for installation - but is not included... I would not of been able to put it on if I had to use original parts. Otherwise very nice.

Thank you for leaving your review. Very glad you're getting a huge improvement. And thanks for the feedback regarding installation, we'll make mention of this tip.
