  • Madstad Quick-Release Adjustable Windshield System for Can-Am Ryker (2018 & Up)

--- NOT COMPATIBLE with Can Am Ryker MTX® Audio System ---

    What's included:

Our complete drop-in system is custom-made for your bike and includes everything needed to mount and position the shield. Your bike will not require any modification.

    • Quick-release hardware
    • Madstad adjustable brackets
    • The acrylic windshield (20" Light Gray shown)
    • All required mounting hardware

Our adjustable brackets clip on and off of four slotted quick-release spools and lock on with two spring-loaded keys. You can adjust the shield for the optimum height, angle and airflow to get the comfort you need for you and your passenger.

    Shield Style
There are two windshield styles available. Touring has the most wind protection with the greater amount of plastic. However it means that the front storage lid will not fully open unless you lift the windshield up and tilt it back in our brackets. Sport style has a bit less wind protection because of the cut out bottom of the windshield but it allows you to fully open the front storage compartment anytime you want without moving the shield. If you need to fully open your storage compartment often, this might be the better option.

    Comfort Like No Other
The Madstad patented windshield mounting system allows riders to adjust the height and angle of their motorcycle windshield resulting in much smoother airflow, better wind protection and a more comfortable ride than any fixed windshield can provide. Our system for the Ryker is also a quick-release to go on and off the bike in seconds with no tools so you can ride with or without anytime you want. Once you try it though, we're pretty sure you aren't going to want to take it off!

    Color & sizing
All our windshields come in three color options (clear, medium gray and dark gray), as well as multiple sizes. Here are our best guidelines for measuring to find your optimal windshield size:

    How to measure video: https://youtu.be/biFx4_vVGG4

    1) Review provided photo to determine the measuring point on the bike.

    2) Measure up from the measuring point, raking back toward the rider to approximately  55-60 degrees. (horizontal flat line is 180 degrees "L" shape is 90 degrees).

    3) Select the windshield size that will be aligned to mouth level.

All of our adjustable brackets have at least 2" of up down range to fine tune the fit and about 15 degrees of angle adjustment used to dial in clean air.

    So flexible!

The best thing about the Madstad system, is the fact that you can adjust the shield in so many positions. The bracket is easily changed for various conditions. The wind is no longer a factor when it comes to fatigue. I recommend the Madstad system enthusiastically!

    What a difference.

Blown away, well not by the wind blast. I’m 6’2”, and ordered the 22” screen. And the original wind shield whilst looking perfectly on the bike created horrific buffeting of my helmet anything over 40 MPH. The first ride was with the windshield all the way down and forward. Immediately I noticed how much quieter the ride was. And even partially standing up to see where the air hits my helmet it’s just super smooth air. Not rough and no buffeting. Other than pure comfort the quiet really does let you hear comms. I can actually feel the bass and hear my music clearly with my Cardo Packtalk. I fully recommend Madstad for delivering their promise of a wonderfully comfortable and quiet ride, and the quality of craftsmanship is second to none. Everything is well made and the windscreen itself is absolutely beautiful. Thank you to Madstad!

    The Right Fit

My Honda CTX seems to lean a little more than I am comfortable with. Tried several different plates and pads to no avail. This Madstad fits perfectly and is a well thought out piece of engineering. Now I can get a good night's sleep not worrying my bike is going to tip over.

The engineering, fit and finish are all very impressive. Been monkeying around with the height and rake, will take some time to find the best compromise. The cold air sure tells you when you head the wrong way off of a mid setting which seems to work the best with the 14 in screen.

“Before their install, I suffered from the constant, unmitigated buffeting at speeds above 40 mph. Now I can hear the engine, and that's a sound I like!"

“I have a stack of other windshields. I've bought over the years before I discovered the Madstad system, and none of them compare. Do yourself a favor and just buy the Madstad first!"

“Long rides at freeway speeds were the worst because of the buffeting. I installed the 18" Madstad screen, keeping it at the lowest setting, and the buffeting is gone. I now have a nice quiet air flow around my head and upper torso, regardless of speed.”
