What's included
Our complete drop-in system is custom-made for your bike and includes everything needed to mount and position the shield. Your bike will not require any modification.

Our base brackets bolt to the sides of your forks through two of the four pinch bolts on each side. The adjustable windshield brackets snap on and off of those base brackets without tools and are held in place by spring-loaded latches. Once attached you will be able to set the shield for your particular height and riding position for smooth comfortable wind protection while looking over the shield, not through it! Our brackets are made of heavy-duty stainless steel so you can ride on or off pavement with confidence.

All our windshields come in three color options (clear, medium gray and dark gray), as well as multiple sizes. Here are our best guidelines for measuring to find your optimal windshield size:
1) Review provided photo to determine the measuring point on the bike.
2) Measure up from the measuring point, maintaining the angle of the forks (two wheeled vehicles, 55-60 degrees for other models).
3) Select the windshield size that will be aligned to mouth level.
All of our adjustable brackets have at least 2" of up down range to fine tune the fit and about 15 degrees of angle adjustment used to dial in clean air.

The tiny factory "touring" shield protects your instrument cluster from the wind, but not much else. Our much larger shields give you full upper body wind protection and our patented adjustable system lets you dial in your best height and angle for much smoother airflow without turbulence or buffeting. Have superior comfort like no other so you can truly enjoy your bike. In addition our quick-release system lets you snap it off and on to go from touring shield to original bike in just seconds. Installed the 16 inch on my 2008 Goldwing everything is set at its lowest level. I see over about 2 inches over the top and absolutely no buffering at all for me or my wife. I do get air flowing past me, but it’s smooth clean air. My wife and I went out yesterday for about 100 mile ride maybe a little more than that and most of the way I was between 65 and 70 never lowered the shield on my helmet. No need for it with this windshield. Highly recommend.

I have tried several name brand windshields trying to stop wind buffeting nothing work. I was skeptical at first about your shield because of past failures. But this shield works, it has completely stop the buffeting even running the interstate at 80 mph. Thanks satisfied customer

The product works fairly well on my triumph 1200 speedster .. can’t get the angle of the wind screen to totally eliminate the wind entirely .. but that ok … biggest beef are the install instructions are terrible .. IKEA gives better step by step instructions.. there is not even a complete close up photo of what the unit should look like when done … I went on line and watched a gentleman who installed a wind shield on his Bonneville , and that helped .
Thanks for leaving your review Leam. We're glad that you're finding improvment over stock. Keep in mind there's also height adjustment which could help even more. We're wondering if you were looking at a different installation manual. The one we link to with the kit has many colored photos of each step and one with the system mounted. No problem instructions with shield. Found online but Impossible to read on phone. Must modify existing to accept by removing sleeve and circlip making it easy to loose factory parts and hard to put back as assembled by BMW
