Two great products for the BMW R18 - bundled together for great savings!

Adjustable Windshield System with Quick-Release for BMW R 18 (2020 & Up)

Our complete drop-in system requires no modification and includes everything needed to mount and position the shield:

  • Center mount quick-release base bracket
  • Quick-detach adjustable windshield brackets
  • Touring windshield
  • All requires mounting hardware

The touring shield is positioned in front of your instrument pod and the adjustable brackets allow you to set it for the most comfortable airflow depending on your particular height and riding position. Adjustability is critical for smooth comfortable wind protection while looking over the shield, not through it! All of our R 18 shields are about 20" wide at their widest point, as measured straight across the back. This is their finished width.

You can detach the windshield in seconds (and without tools) if you prefer to go without. Only the minimal base bracket is left behind. Same thing goes for the lower deflectors; they snap on and off in seconds with just a minimal bracket left behind.

NOTE: This system does NOT fit the Transcontinental (fairing) version of the R18.

Lower Deflectors Kit for BMW R 18 (2020 & Up)

This is a lower deflectors add-on kit ONLY. It requires that you already have the Madstad touring shield system. These lowers will NOT attach without the touring shield brackets. This kit includes:

  • Quick-detach lowers brackets
  • Lower deflectors

You can order these to match your touring shield color.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE!

Installed this windshield on my 2023 Road Glide. Instructions are very easy to understand and made a world of difference on my bike. Great customer service! My package was missing the weatherstrip and they sent it to me at no cost and priority mail. I can now ride my bike comfortable and don’t have to worry about buffeting. Great job Madstad!

Easy switch from large to smaller windshield

I use a large Madstad windshield for the colder months and switch to smaller one for the warmer months. Before I was going back to the original small BMW windshield, but this required to remove the whole windshield support. With this smaller Madstad windshield, I can simply switch back and forth only removing 4 screws.

No Regrets

Just purchased a new "old stock" 2023 Triumph Tiger 900 GT Pro and new, based on reviews, I would have to replace the windscreen for comfort. I ordered the Madstad windscreen before I picked up, or even road, the Tiger 900. After taking the bike on a couple 1 hour rides, I regretted spending the money on an "upgraded" windscreen. The stock unit, IMO, was great. I had none of the issues all the YouTubers spoke about. No head buffeting, no wind gust on my chest, nothing. I'm 6'-0" and 190 lbs. The Madstad unit came in about 2 weeks and I considered returning in. Since it look so easy, I reluctantly installed it. Installation was suuuuper easy. I immediately took the bike out. 5 minutes in I new this windscreen was a huge improvement. I had vertually no wind in my face and the wind noise on my ears was nearly nil. I could hear every aspect of the engine and tires. There was just enough wind left on my torso to provide much needed cooling here in central Florida. I have been on a 3 hour ride since and have no regrets with my purchase. It truly is night and day even after being completely satisfied with the stock screen. I had no issues with the unit so cannot comment on customer service. Shipping was done in a reasonable time give it appears to be a custom made project. Highly recommend.

Best windshield

I have owned a Madstad windshield since 2017. It has been perfect. Not a single problem. It is rock solid and provides great protection at highway speeds. I have told many other motorcyclists who were shopping for an aftermarket windshield about my satisfaction.

23 MT09

Got one for my '23 MT09, struggled a bit with adjustments to get clean air, until I figured out my mirrors were part of the problem. They were tossing air back at me until I winged them out fully (which actually made them more usable anyways). Get a taller shield than you think you need, based on their measurements I still went 1 size bigger and barely covers me (but it does). I only ride with the big shield when its super cold, and it does wonders for that.
