Madstad's patented mounting system allows riders to adjust the height and angle of their windshield resulting in much smoother airflow, better wind protection, and a more comfortable ride than any fixed windshield can provide.

With the windshield separated from the fairing and control over the height and angle of the shield, you can finally eliminate the vacuum that is the primary cause of most turbulence. The result? What's included
Our complete drop-in system is custom-made for your bike and includes:
- Acrylic windshield
- Adjustable bracket system
- Pair of Acrylic Side Deflectors
- Pair of Metal Headlight Frame Panels (choice of white or black)
- Texturized GPS/Phone Mount Crossbar
- All required mounting hardware
Your bike will not require any modification and our system does not interfere with any factory accessories. The stock windshield is not compatible with the Madstad adjustable brackets.
We've created a wider shield to give you better wind protection. Our bracket system attaches where the factory shield mounts and allows you to dial in the best height and angle to give you smooth airflow over your helmet while still allowing you to see over the top of the shield.
All Madstad windshields are made from 3/16" (4.5 mm) thick cast acrylic.

All our windshields come in three color options (clear, medium gray and dark gray), as well as multiple sizes. Here are our best guidelines for measuring to find your optimal windshield size:
1) Review provided photo to determine the measuring point on the bike.
2) Measure up from the measuring point, maintaining the angle of the forks (two wheeled vehicles, 55-60 degrees for other models).
3) Select the windshield size that will be aligned to mouth level.
All of our adjustable brackets have at least 2" of up down range to fine tune the fit and about 15 degrees of angle adjustment used to dial in clean air.

Installed the 16 inch on my 2008 Goldwing everything is set at its lowest level. I see over about 2 inches over the top and absolutely no buffering at all for me or my wife. I do get air flowing past me, but it’s smooth clean air. My wife and I went out yesterday for about 100 mile ride maybe a little more than that and most of the way I was between 65 and 70 never lowered the shield on my helmet. No need for it with this windshield. Highly recommend.

I have tried several name brand windshields trying to stop wind buffeting nothing work. I was skeptical at first about your shield because of past failures. But this shield works, it has completely stop the buffeting even running the interstate at 80 mph. Thanks satisfied customer

The product works fairly well on my triumph 1200 speedster .. can’t get the angle of the wind screen to totally eliminate the wind entirely .. but that ok … biggest beef are the install instructions are terrible .. IKEA gives better step by step instructions.. there is not even a complete close up photo of what the unit should look like when done … I went on line and watched a gentleman who installed a wind shield on his Bonneville , and that helped .
Thanks for leaving your review Leam. We're glad that you're finding improvment over stock. Keep in mind there's also height adjustment which could help even more. We're wondering if you were looking at a different installation manual. The one we link to with the kit has many colored photos of each step and one with the system mounted. No problem instructions with shield. Found online but Impossible to read on phone. Must modify existing to accept by removing sleeve and circlip making it easy to loose factory parts and hard to put back as assembled by BMW
