Love the new windshield, will see how it does in the rain but I do wish it was a little wider! Only negative mounting it was the holes in the mounting plate had to be drilled out as they were to small for the supplied hardware.
Very pleased. High quality materials and build throughout. I have the 22 inch clear and run it at full height and canted back all the way. I'm 5'8"ft. tall and the position is perfect, as I can easily see over the top of the windscreen. Substantially reduces wind blast and is a 100% improvement over the stock NC750X windscreen. Installed relatively easily via a Madstad's YouTube video.
I was hoping this would solve the Buffeting Issues I had with the Stock Kawasaki Windscreen but really just more of the same. I love the adjustability of the Madstad but the Core issue with this Bike is the Buffeting that I still experienced and is still there. It's a well made Windscreen but for this Bike it needs more overhang around the Headlamp area where there is a channel of Air the comes up over the Tank and hits you right in the Chest/Face/Under the Helmet and unfortunatley doesn't change much, no matter where you adjust it. However this setup does work well with Memphis Shades Fork Lowers. I had this issue with my 06 RoadStar and these solved the Buffeting to at least 90%. I tried the Memphis Shades with the Puig Cruiser Style Windscreen but the Buffeting hit me good above the Mouth with a Full Face Helmet. So in conclusion, this Product is a part of the Solution on this Bike in particular. It works better than most High end Windscreens but needs a little help down below. Once you put the Lower Fork Guards on there, it is very quiet behind that Windscreen, not Silent but Damn good. You should try making a design that goes down past the Headlight, maybe 6 inches, from where it is now, and that I think would be a drastic difference to the Buffeting issue a lot of Bikes have when installing aftermarket Windscreens, particularly the Vulcan S. Just my experience. This was just a mock up but worked well, going with Black Fork Lowers. Good Luck.
After many different bikes and screens over 40yrs or so I'm not sure there is a 100% solution for buffeting except to ride naked, if that's an option for you. In saying that my 2023 BMW F750GS with Madstad screen and wings with an MRA X-Screen on top is the best result I've had so far. Still experimenting with angles and height etc as only Madstad gives you those options as far as I know. Also Fed-ex economy freight delivered to me in Australia under a week, fantastic.
Facile à installer, il s'enlève en 10 secondes. J'ai hâte de l'essayer ! Encore 2 pieds de neige chez moi. Très satisfait !

★★★★★Johann Borenstein“Before their install, I suffered from the constant, unmitigated buffeting at speeds above 40 mph. Now I can hear the engine, and that's a sound I like!"
★★★★★Murphy Motors“I have a stack of other windshields. I've bought over the years before I discovered the Madstad system, and none of them compare. Do yourself a favor and just buy the Madstad first!"
★★★★★Scott Beal“Long rides at freeway speeds were the worst because of the buffeting. I installed the 18" Madstad screen, keeping it at the lowest setting, and the buffeting is gone. I now have a nice quiet air flow around my head and upper torso, regardless of speed.”
